Reason enough

On floor 13, walls of glass

And there it is. As far north as I can go in America

A lake it shines and holds us afloat

as Mayfield

Strips the ball away from those terrible towels

Below me sullen zombies skry without brains

In piles of rusted car parts

But someone up here in the sky knows

We will never rebuild from this. It’s time to start anew

The sun parts her hair, after the pain of it

There is that look in her eyes

Men have leveled cities with bombs for

Returned home to die for

“It’s never going to be ok
